Urban Cooling are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to sell a new range of HVAC products for the Residential & Light commercial market.
They are a well-established and progressive company based in Chatham, Kent. Who carry out installations primarily in residential and light commercial properties within the M25 and home counties.
Hours
40 a week although the nature of this role demands a very flexible attitude to work times.
Whilst this job is mostly working in the field you will need to attend at the office at least once a week or possibly twice
in return
In addition to a competitive salary of £60,000 with the opportunity to top this up to £100,000 OTE

You will be responsible for;-
- A full marketing and sales plan to bring our new HVAC products to market
- Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, exhibitions and presentations.
- Researching and forecasting sales, developing sales strategies and methods for evaluating their effectiveness.
- Visiting customers on a regular basis and evaluating customer needs and desires, turning this information into future marketing material or feedback to management.
- Creating sales targets and working to meet them individually and as a team
- Monitoring the organisation’s competitors, their products and marketing strategies
- Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations
- Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales
- Reporting and providing feedback to management using financial data collected
You will be expected to get the following results.
- A high conversion rate of enquiries into sales.
- Generate £100,000 of converted sales per month for year one with increasing sales target for following years.
- A full marketing and sales plan to bring our new HVAC products to market
You will need to meet the following standards
- Always be clean & tidily attired in company branded attire
- To be timely in all customer interactions & communicative when circumstances challenge your commitments
- To be flexible outside of normal office hours when dealing customer enquires
- To be highly professional and ethical at all times
We are seeking a proactive candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
- Personally organised.
- Punctual and Timely
- Good understanding of computers and keeping software systems updated .
- Good understanding of computers and other cloud based software such as CRM’s.
Knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position
- Ability to take completely new products in the HVAC sector and bring them to the market
- Ability to research the potential market and put together a proposal
- Ability to outline a marketing and sales strategy in a timely and professional manor
- Knowledge of converting the outline plan into a detailed sales and marketing strategy to come within budget In depth knowledge of the residential / light commercial construction sectors
- Work with outsourced marketing teams.
- The skill to get past `gatekeepers` and put yourself in front of the decision maker for future construction projects
- Quality networking skills
- Knowledge in producing detailed computerised reports and accounting to report to management.
