Glebe Construction are a Rotherham based Construction Company who mostly operate in the  Domestic Market, building adapted homes & extensions for the Disability Market in Yorkshire & beyond.

They are rapidly expanding and require a full-time Assistant Project Manager to to work alongside the Business Owner so they can continue to service the growing client-base.

The successful candidate will be a ‘rock’ in the team, helping to be well organised and effective, providing a great experience for our Clients.

This is an important role & you will be part of a growing, successful team who are focused on getting the business to the next level.

 

What’s in it for you?

Salary of £25,000 to £35,000 full time subject to experience

40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8 to 4.30

Your Main Duties will be as follows

  1.  Providing excellent communication and service to our customers
  2. Providing clients with regular updates to progress on site
  3. Tendering for projects and producing details quotations and breakdowns of costings 
  4. Creating a programme of works and critical path to ensure projects run smoothly on site
  5. Sourcing the best prices and correct quantities of materials 
  6. Making sure materials are on site on time 
  7. Inspecting works undertaken on site is completed to a high standard and as per drawings/specifications
  8. Logging and communicating any changes to the specification and gaining approval of the variation with clients ahead of any additional works being completed.

 

 

Results Expected in the position

 

  1. To generate in excess of  33 % GP 
  2. Generating 3 new contracts per annum at +£250K Gross Sale each.
  3. Making sure we are on time and budget with projects and ensure a smooth progression of cash flow from each project
  4. Liaising with members of staff on site to ensure a smooth progression on site
  5. Aid the business to grow by offering and unrivalled service to all of our customers
  6. Developing the companies procedures in order to systemise processes where necessary/relevant 


 

Skills and attributes:

 

  1. Building strong relationships with existing and new clients
  2. Building strong relationships with existing and new members of staff
  3. Able to read detailed construction drawings and specifications
  4. Excellent organisational skills
  5. Able to communicate well via telephone and email
  6. Excellent IT skills
  7. Excellent numerical skills
  8. A full  UK driving licence
