Urban Cooling Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Surveyor to join their growing, market-leading business on a flexible, contract basis.

Based in Chatham, Kent, they are a well-established and forward-thinking company delivering high-quality residential air-conditioning installations throughout the M25 area.

Candidates are required to live within, or close to the M25.

Product and Survey Training will be provided at our training centre.

Hours & Salary
Flexible Hours (Mon - Sun)
Hourly wage £15 + £200 per sale

You will be responsible for:
● Carrying out video and site surveys using our internal software forms to capture information in order to issue quotations to our customers.
● Collaborating with the sales team to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
● Producing quotations from surveys completed.
● Developing positive relationships with clients and dealing with any queries or concerns as they arise.
● Making your own way to the customer's property, in a timely manner.

You will be expected to get the following results:
1. Complete customer onsite and video surveys relating to their proposed residential air conditioning installation using our forms and software as per your training.
2. Help maintain customer relations

You will need:
1. To be confident with strangers in face-to-face site or video surveys - (This is Key)
2. Effective communication skills and the ability to listen to customer's requirements.
3. Experience in face-to-face selling an advantage.
4. Proficient in Zoom & other modern office and conference call software.
5. Experience within Sales and building services.
6. Confident telephone user
7. People person (ability to close sales with confidence)

We are seeking a proactive candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
● Personally organised.
● Punctual and Timely
● Good understanding of computers and keeping software systems updated.

● Good understanding of computers and other cloud-based software such as CRM’s.
● Experience with building services and or HVAC industry beneficial
